Marian Clairbel (Reed) Allmon

Marian Clairbel Allmon, 93, of Marble Hill, passed away on July 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 21, 1932, to the late Walter and Pansy (Garver)  Reed in McDougal, Arkansas.

Marian served in the postal service for 20 years, staring as a clerk in 1974. Her accomplishments included Postmaster at Glen Allen, Missouri and Postmaster in Marble Hill, Missouri.

She was a songbird and a proud member of the gospel Harmonizers. She took the most pride in being a Christian, and member of the Church of Christ in Marble Hill.

She is survived by her children: Donna Allmon, Karen Rives; brothers: Steve Reed, Clyde Reed; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Marian’s nurturing sprit, unwavering support and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband Joe Allmon, two sons Gary (Jo) Allmon, and Rodney Allmon.  Granddaughter Lindsey Allmon and great grandson Chase Conrad.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on August 1, 2026, at 10:00 am, at the Church of Christ in Marble Hill. The Pendergrass Funeral Home is assisting with Marian’s final wishes.
